![]() ![]() Just my a "Follow Up" to the "Starter Collection" here is my revised 2 CD Package: Let Spotify or an Amazon handle the Distribution. By 0fficially releasing a Paul McCartney CD/Album like "Leftovers and Rarities" to Spotify (or another giant music conglomerate) Paul would automatically receive tremendous exposure. I was just reading how good a company like Spotify is doing financially. As I've said, and for Paul's own sake, most of these songs should be known. They are unknown because they get "lost" as unreleased material, they get relegated to B-sides, or they are put on various Soundtrack Albums. My main point is that most of these songs (from my "Starter" list immediately above) should be known. By extracting songs from his past (when he could really sing) it could eliminate all the negativity that an aging artist like Paul would receive about his current voice. For one thing, he already has so many good songs that are generally "unknown" to his fan base. It also got me thinking just how a new album like "Leftovers and Rarities" would make a great deal of sense for an aging artist like Paul McCartney right now. As we know, if you include "unreleased or rare" songs (not on original McCartney albums) that would include many songs. That got me thinking of just how many good songs Paul has in his personal vaults that are either unreleased or relatively unknown to his potentially huge, general fan base. The original rumor started with Paul doing some sort of new album of "unreleased" songs in 2023. I'm not sure, however, that a "new" Paul McCartney album for 2023 or even 2024 is going to happen. I didn't include any of the McCartney Solo Album Tracks (including McCartney 3) because Paul and MPL just released a Box Set of the McCartney, McCartney 2 and McCartney 3 understand your sentiment of wanting a new Paul album of brand new, never released material.
